Terms

Terms of use

Updated 17 August 2026

These terms govern your use of GenzFixesIndia, including the website, related apps, and public record. By signing in or using the service, you agree to them.

  1. 01The service

GenzFixesIndia is a public civic ledger for India. People can document broken schools, hospitals, roads, and other public sites, keep those records visible, and follow related public information such as mood, cited cases, and elected-office records.

The service is provided as a public record and civic tool. It is not a government portal, court filing system, or emergency service.

  2. 02Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and only where that is allowed by law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit and for activity that happens through your account.

  3. 03Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with Google. You must keep that Google account secure and use only an account you are allowed to use.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, posts unlawful or harmful material, or is used in a way that puts the public record or other people at risk.

  4. 04Reports and other content you post

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, text, and other material you upload. You grant GenzFixesIndia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute that material so the public record can be shown, indexed, and kept available.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you upload, that it is not secretly recorded in a way that breaks the law, and that it does not impersonate someone else.

Reports, comments, votes, and similar posts may stay public even if you later sign out. If you chose to post without showing your name, the public page can hide your name while the report itself remains visible.

  5. 05Posting without a public name

You may choose to post a report or comment without showing your name on the public page. That choice hides your display name from visitors. It does not make the post private, and it does not remove the record from the service.

Your account can still be tied to that post on the backend so you can edit it from your own account.

  6. 06Acceptable use

Do not use the service to do any of the following:

    • Post false, defamatory, or misleading claims presented as fact
    • Upload illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence
    • Harass, threaten, or dox another person
    • Interfere with the service, scrape it in an abusive way, or attempt unauthorized access
    • Use automated tools to spam, manipulate votes, or flood the record
    • Upload media you do not have the right to share
  7. 07A public record

Material you publish can be seen by anyone, copied, discussed, and linked. Location details, photos, and descriptions you include are part of that public record.

Public directories on the site, including cited cases and elected-office information, are compiled from public sources. They are shown for civic awareness and may be incomplete or become out of date.

  8. 08Third-party services

Sign-in is handled by Google. Media is stored with Cloudflare R2. The application backend is hosted on Convex. Payment features, if you use them, are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout.

Those services have their own terms. GenzFixesIndia is not responsible for outages or decisions made by those providers.

  9. 09No warranties

The service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that reports will be verified, that a site will be fixed, that listings are complete, or that the service will always be online.

Nothing on the service is legal, medical, or official government advice.

  10. 10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, GenzFixesIndia and the people who operate it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost opportunity, or reputational harm arising from your use of the service or from content posted by others.

If a court finds that we are liable despite this section, that liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or one thousand Indian rupees, whichever is greater.

  11. 11Changes and termination

We may update these terms. The updated date at the top of this page is the effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

We may stop offering part or all of the service, or remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

  12. 12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes that cannot be resolved directly through the service.
